We started this morning by welcoming our newest WATT sister, Jaime Ryum, owner of Mountainview Hospice! We are so happy to have her joining this incredible group of women.
Teri Davis continued the celebration of Sierra Signs’ 40th anniversary. Forty years in business is an incredible accomplishment, and hearing some of the stories behind that journey made it even more meaningful.
From the Neon Graveyard to the Neon Garden in Mesa, their work is literally helping preserve and bring history back to life. Teri shared how the signs were rebuilt, along with some of the fascinating details behind neon itself and the craftsmanship required to restore these pieces.
And I have to add, Sierra Signs created our Delta Business Advisors sign, so I already knew firsthand how amazing their work is.
One of the most touching moments came from a letter written by Teri’s daughter. It brought the conversation right back to one word: legacy.
Forty years of building a company is impressive. Building something that the next generation recognizes, values, and is proud of is something even more special.
And from there, the conversation flowed naturally into one of the things we talk about often at WATT: the impact we create through our businesses, our families, our communities, and one another.
