Hormones & Honesty

Hormones & Honesty

OMG — this may have been one of our best ProVisors WAG meetings ever.

Dr. Julie Hinman and Dr. Krissi Holder led an incredible conversation about hormones, perimenopause, and menopause from both Eastern and Western medicine perspectives.

We talked about symptoms many women experience, current treatment approaches — from patches and creams to nutraceuticals and supplements — plus Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and a whole lot more.

And then it got REAL.

The questions started.
The stories came out.
Women shared what they had experienced.
And suddenly the learning went far beyond the presentation.

That is what I love about WAG: smart women sharing real information, real experiences, and real resources with one another.

And because ProVisors is also about helping each other create business, here are a few people you should know — and introductions they would love:

  • Lisa Weston — If your company has 10+ employees and you’re experiencing benefits sticker shock, NOW is the time to start planning for next year. And on a personal note, her recently minted software-engineer son is looking for the right career opportunity — introductions welcome!
  • Caitlyn Penny — She is looking for 10 companies with $5M+ in revenue to participate in a beta test. If your company could benefit from fractional CMO support, branding, marketing strategy, or operational insight, connect with Caitlyn.
  • Michelle Zurcher — Welcome to ProVisors! And how fun that we got to meet your mom, too. Michelle would love introductions to wealth advisors and financial advisors in Arizona or North Dakota.
  • Kara Showley — If you are a CPA working with small businesses, Kara wants to know you.
  • Leslie Lambert — Another big welcome to ProVisors! Leslie would appreciate introductions to Chief Compliance Officers and others responsible for compliance and financial-crime risk.

This is why I keep saying:

ProVisors works when we work for one another.

Now I’m curious, women of LinkedIn:

What is ONE thing you wish someone had told you earlier about perimenopause or menopause?

And everyone else: Who do you know that one of these women should meet? Tag them below.
