What a WATT morning!
We went from Arizona’s water future, to financial empowerment, to health insurance realities — all before lunch!
Annmarie opened our eyes to just how Arizona uses water, including the impact of agriculture, municipalities and industry, the realities of our megadrought, and the proactive steps Arizona has taken through CAP, water banking and reclaimed water.
One fascinating takeaway: while data centers often make headlines, many are using recycled, closed-loop water systems, and industrial water use remains a much smaller piece of the overall picture.
Then Umbreen shifted the conversation to finances, sharing the amazing story behind each credential she has earned and her why!
And Wendy wrapped it up with insurance insights that had all of us paying attention. One number definitely stuck: a minimum 10% increase this year. She also broke down the differences between ACA, level-funded and group-funded plans and why those distinctions matter for business owners and employees alike.
Three very different topics. One incredible morning of learning.
That is one of the things I love about WATT: smart women sharing what they know so we all leave a little smarter.
