Santa needs to travel at 93,000 miles a second to reach every house in the world. This is half the speed of light! At this speed, Santa can travel 6,880,123 miles and deliver presents to each home in two hours and three minutes!
If Santa weren’t magical then delivering presents would be a lot more difficult! If he were to swap his sleigh for a Boeing C-17 Globemaster aircraft, it would take over 90,000 trips just to deliver every gift. This considering that it’s one of the fastest and largest cargo planes available with a top speed of 518 mph!
Luckily, Santa is magical! With the help of his trusty sleigh and reindeer, he can get presents under your Christmas tree before everyone wakes up.
