Business owners remain confident
Business owners continue to be optimistic, despite challenges due to a tight labor market. 81% have a positive outlook for their own businesses over the next 12 months, but many are struggling with things like employee recruitment, wage inflation, and weak customer demand. Owners are taking action and have been responding with more flexible hours, increased base pay, more benefits, and location flexibility. They’re also planning to hire and invest in their businesses. Almost half (44%) plan to hire, and half plan to put money into their operations.
