Closings of companies nonessential physical locations is losing favorability among consumers.  In fact, “expression of favorability toward companies that do this has dropped most significantly, more than any other corporate activity, down 11 percentage points since the end of March [while] unfavorability toward companies doing this has risen by 7 percentage points, the greatest rise in unfavorability across all actions assessed.”

If closure of nonessential location is out of companies’ control, communications is essential. In order to stem potential loss, provide tangible value or identify new ways to engage with your customer base.
