Happy Energy

Happy Energy

What a wonderful way to start the morning at WATT. We even kicked things off with a photo shoot, and the happy energy in the room was contagious.

After announcements, Lorraine Tallman brought us some sobering facts about cancer, but also so much hope around what is coming next at Amanda Hope. Their new location will eventually offer massage, yoga, and sound healing to the paying public, while continuing to provide these services free to children with cancer and their families.

For now, though, all eyes are on the Amanda Hope Gala next Friday, October 2, and it sounds like it is going to be spectacular. Lorraine will also be sharing some fascinating developments around AI, genetics, nutrition, and the fight against cancer. The advances happening in this space are incredible.

If you have been looking for a meaningful organization to support, Amanda Hope is doing extraordinary work and could truly use the community’s help this year. Every gift helps them continue serving children with cancer and their families in such an important way.

Marcy Maslov then took us through her Ethics Game, and who knew there is actually an Ethics Week? Another great conversation that had us thinking.

Michell Brown wrapped up Biz Buzz with a challenge for all of us: what do you want your body to allow you to do in the future?

Play with the grandkids? Travel the world? Live independently? Or simply be strong as #$%@?

Stretching and joint mobility are not just about today. They are about protecting the life you want to live tomorrow. And Michell knows her stuff.

We finished with announcements, but nobody seemed ready to leave. The conversations and connections kept buzzing well after the meeting ended.

That is a pretty great way to start a Wednesday.

What are you doing today that your future self will thank you for?
