Lisa Riley
Lisa Riley is the founder and president of Delta Business Advisors.
In the Business Brokerage and M&A industry since 2011, Lisa is a
recognized leader in the field, providing advisory services to
business owners in the lower middle market and main street.
Lisa is the past chair of the Arizona Business Brokers Association
(AZBBA) and is the incoming (2021) chair of the International
Business Brokers Association (IBBA). She spearheads the quarterly
IBBA/M&A Source Market Pulse Survey, which was created in 2012 to
gain an accurate understanding of the market conditions for
businesses being sold in Main Street (values $0-$2MM) and the lower
middle market (values $2MM -$50MM). This survey provides a valuable
resource to business owners and their advisors.
Lisa’s industry knowledge and large network of business owners and
advisors ensures business owners maximize their results when it is
time to sell or purchase a business. With thousands of businesses in
the Phoenix metro and throughout Arizona, Lisa has access to a broad
spectrum of business types and sizes.
Lisa holds several certifications, including IBBA’s Certified
Business Intermediary (CBI) and Coles College of Business‘ Certified
Mergers & Acquisitions Professional (CM&AP). She also has
been awarded the prestigious Tom West Award and several awards for
outstanding producer from IBBA and AZBBA. Lisa’s educational
achievements include a BA from Benedictine College (KS) and M.A. and
Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame (IN).
As a current and former business owner, Lisa understands the demands

Scott Bushkie
Scott Bushkie is Founder and President of Cornerstone Business
Services. With more than 20 years in the M&A industry, Scott is a
recognized leader in the field, providing exit strategies, sell- and
buy-side transitions, along with valuation services in the lower
middle market. Over the years, Scott has successfully executed
hundreds of transactions, domestically and internationally, working
with private equity firms, family offices, and strategic buyers, both
public and private. Scott has the trust and respect of CPA and
Financial Advisor alliances, Investment Banks, and numerous other
professional service firms around the M&A marketplace.
Scott is a sought after expert in the M&A market having been
quoted by the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, and the Associated
Press. He writes for regional business papers, including a monthly
syndicated column for Gannett. As a keynote speaker, Scott has
engaged audiences from national organizations to local trade groups
and international delegations, with a key focus on helping
professional advisors and their clients prepare for future business
transitions.
Scott is the founder and past chair of the Wisconsin chapter of
Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries Association (MBBI) and
also the past chair of the International Business Broker Association
(IBBA), the largest association for Business Brokers and M&A
Professionals worldwide. In 2014, Scott became the youngest person
ever awarded the prestigious Fellow of the IBBA designation, a
lifetime award that recognizes industry expertise and significant
contributions to the profession. In 2017, Scott was named a Fellow of
the M&A Source, once again the youngest recipient in the
organization’s history. Among other industry accolades, Scott
received the IBBA Closing of the Year award and the Chairman’s Circle
Award for 2017. He’s been recognized with the MBBI Outstanding
Leadership Award and Member of the Year and as the Wisconsin SBA
Emerging Small Business Person of the Year.
In 2018, Scott launched the Cornerstone International Alliance,
providing member firms with enhanced buyer reach, access to industry
experts, resources, and structured best practice sharing. Operating
with the philosophy that success breeds success, the alliance helps
top tier lower middle market M&A firms create more value for
their clients.
Scott holds the Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary

Ron West
Founder – Deal Studio

Ron West is Founder of Deal Studio a marketing automation firm and
President of Business Brokerage Press, publishers of the Business
Reference Guide (BRG) and distributor of a wide range of industry
guides and resources – all to the Business Advisory & Brokerage
Industries.
Ron grew up in the fabled path of industry pioneers and leaders
dating back to his Great Grandfather George Wright Sr., who relocated
his family from the east in the early 1900’s, founding The Wright
Company – a Real Estate & Business Brokerage firm in California.
George’s son Russ, affectionately known as "The Old Pro"
ultimately took over the firm, taking it to the next level,
transitioning the company to strictly Business Brokerage. The next
transition in the family’s rich history in the industry happened when
Tom West, moved out to California marrying Ron’s mom. He ultimately
bought The Wright Company from Ron’s grandfather, renaming the
company to United Business Investments – growing the firm to 54
locations across the west coast – ultimately selling the company to
new ownership.
About that time, George Naddaff (Founder of the Boston Market
Franchise) arrived on the west coast looking for new franchise
opportunities and decided Business Brokerage was a good business to
get into. He approached Ron’s dad asking if he would like to launch a
franchise based out of New England to which he agreed, relocating the
entire family back to the east coast. Together, they launched VR Business
Brokers, building the company to nearly 400 locations across the US
in just under 4 years. Tom decided to leave VR at that time in the
1983-84 timeframe to launch Business Brokerage Press, the same year
becoming one of the co-founders of the International Business
Brokerage Association (IBBA).
Ron started working with the family on Business Brokerage Press
during his college years in the late 1990’s learning, he too had a
passion for the industry. Fresh out of college, Ron and his dad
launched the company Generations where they sold businesses for
several years while he still participated in activities with Business
Brokerage Press. Ron relocated briefly to Atlanta to work with
another firm to determine if he wanted to pursue a career selling
businesses and quickly realized his true passion lay with Business
Brokerage Press and the marketing end of the industry. Ron then spent
more than two decades pursuing his interest with creating systems and
tools for marketing and technology to be used in the industry –
learning much through his successes and failures which brings him to
where he is today.
In his free time Ron enjoys going to the beach, boating, and taking
road-trips with his wife Sarah and their 5 children. He is also very
active in his church.

George Giles is President and Founder of Intemedior Business

Toronto, Canada.
George started his corporate career as a fourth-generation member of
a family owned Printing and Publishing Company in New England that
dated back to the 1800’s. After leading the family business through
an explosive period of growth in the early 1980’s, he moved on to a
career with the R.R. Donnelley & Sons family of companies – a
fortune 100 company at the time. He spent the next 20 years in a
variety of roles in Sales & Marketing, Accounting &
Operations Management, Organizational Diagnosis & Development,
and Information Technology. His career took him through several
corporate startups, mergers and acquisitions providing him with a
rich and varied base of experience that serves the best interests of
Intemedior’s clientele well.
George is an avid outdoorsman spending his 20’s hiking many sections
of the Appalachian Trail and downhill ski racing – Giant Slalom and a
gold medal winner in a regional NASTAR event. He is also an
accomplished golfer and these days spends as much off-time as he can
with his wife Cynthia, both certified PADI Advanced Divers, exploring
the reefs off the Florida coast, Caribbean and Bahamas.
