I covered the different buyer types business owners should understand — individuals, strategics, private equity, and ESOPs — along with the pros, cons, valuation expectations, and deal structures behind each. Who you sell to matters just as much as the price.
Dyan Haugen followed with a hilarious (and painful!) example of a Paris trip planned by ChatGPT — missed meals and zig-zagging across the city all day. Her point? Just because you can DIY something complex doesn’t mean you should.
Same goes for selling a business. Strategy and specialization matter.
