WATT – What a Wonderful Week!

WATT – What a Wonderful Week!

What a fabulous way to start the morning with my WATT sisters! Even with a little detour coming in from the South, the time together was well worth it.

Highlights from our morning gathering:

  • Joyce shared wisdom and experiences from her life — always inspiring.
  • Denise Kaye took us on a virtual trip, recounting her milestone birthday celebration with her husband: Paris, Greece, and a beautiful cruise.
  • Umbreen Kazmi offered her thoughtful insights and reflections on what she’s observing in life right now.
  • Dawn Kennington-Bejar brought us into the Thanksgiving spirit, reminding us of the best deal in town: order your stuffed turkey and sides ahead, pick up on Wednesday, and enjoy a stress-free, delectable Thanksgiving dinner. The secret family recipe is a true gem! Click https://www.benedictscaterers.com/thanksgiving and you are set! PS…limited amounts available so don’t wait or you may miss out!
  • Heather Locke inspired us with her book review of The AI Driven Leader. I can’t wait to dive into it myself and focus on the CRIT framework she highlighted — it sounds like a game-changer for leaders in today’s fast-moving world.
  • Quick health nudge: It’s October 1 — the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you’re due for a mammogram, schedule it today. Check on a friend and wear pink with us.

Afterward, conversations flowed — from official plans to casual catch-ups. The energy of these women is contagious, and the connections are priceless.

And this past week included fabulous WATT memories:

  • A fabulous Repurposed Fashion Show hosted by GreenLiving Magazine.  Thank you Dorie Morales for all you do!
  • A rejuvenating weekend retreat with WATT sisters in Rocky Point, complete with games, massages, and the most relaxing time together. Ginger Clayton you are a most gracious hostess and we could not have asked for a better weekend!
  • A lively Happy Hour with both current members and potential new Women at the Top sisters.

It’s weeks like this that remind me how powerful, supportive, and energizing it is to be surrounded by women who uplift one another. I’m so grateful for this tribe — and excited for what’s ahead!
