According to the Market Pulse 2021 Q1 survey, for businesses selling for more than $1M in purchase price, 60%+ of business intermediaries reported a Sellers Market, significantly up from Q1 2020. Only for those business selling <$500K had fewer than 1/3 business brokers reporting a seller’s market while over 2/3 indicated a buyer market sentiment.
